i need friends
Aug 18 2009, 8:47 PM EDT
I am new here, i know i have been spiritually enlightened (its been about 3 very exciting months since its happened). I would love to make new friends, because currently i have no friends who really understand what i am going through, i need to feel the love, from everyone around me. That is why i am pouring my heart and soul out to you guys, because i trust that you will understand.

I am a free spirit who relates closely with the sea otter, loving, playful, and cute Lol. before i would say kindness is my weakness, no longer is that so. i struggle with the fact that not everyone is ready for the truth, and wont recognize it right away. why am i constantly trying to help when i dont know if i can help, i guess all i can do is love. I almost feel as though i know what everyone is thinking and they know what i am thinking, like maybe my psychic abilities are starting to open up. At this point in life my kids are the center of my world , and by constantly learning one day maybe they will be able to understand the universe as i am seeing it now. before i used to think that i was not a good mom but i trust my instincts and intution now, i know better.

Much work to do.. enlightenment is a process... don't think that you have reached Enlightenment until your third eye and crown chakra burst to life at all times of the day they are overwhelming your head with cosmic force, you will have no perception of duality such as being a "free spirit" or a "not free spirit".. then you are Enlightened.. until then you are seeking...and you would be surprised, I'll bet your children understand more than you would think.Nice to meet you sweet pea =) yes not everyone is at a level where they are ready to abandon separation and dissolve into Unity Consciousness.. but their paths are their paths and all we can do is exemplify this transition ourselvs.. Believe me they don't know what your thinking.. they still believe that their heads are the source of their thoughts. 5 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |

thank you tamid for replying i have been waiting . I will take in everything you have told me, i know my kids are smart, my insecurites are what used to seperate me from them. What i meant was i am so shocked that i did not see the world as i see it now, sooner than before i feel more awake then ever, and will my kids one day have this same shock.

Hi sweetpea, thanks for your input and for joining the community/website, its great to have you here.Someone posted in the "one-liners" thread something like this : The mind that does not understand is also the Buddha. There is no other. I feel this is very much close to the truth; all there truly is is the Buddha-God-Goddess-Creator-Source however you may call That. All else is illusion; utterly beautiful but nonetheless illusion. The greatest act of compassion one could do is to realise this, and give others the space they need to realise it in their own indivudual expression, to let them follow their own inner path. It is said that we do not see the world as it is, we see it as we are. When we look through the eyes of compassion we see that we are all one, and all beings are the Buddha. Whatever we think about them, whatever we think they believe about themself, Enlightenment is all there is, looking through your eyes and through the eyes of all those you love - and even those not so lovely ones ;-) lol It's great to have you here sister, big hugs *~~ Julien 4 out of 5 found this valuable. Hey there Sweetpea, it is good to see more people on the road to enlightenment. I myself stand along the path in an attempt to help and guide all others that walk it. For God has called me to do so.If you ever want to talk and discuss your journey to enlightenment. I'd be more than happy to share my experiences with you. 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Greetings sweetpeaAKAyoli. Welcome to the site first off and you are in the right place to learn more about yourself and the changing times we are in. As to your new found path, just take it one day at a time and all will be presented to you. Each day, it's a choice you have to make to be able to allow spirit to guide you or not. It's truly all up to you and in your hands every day you exist. This is a great place and there is a lot of stuff on this site to take in. I would advise you to browse the sacred text section if you are not already doing that. Lots of wisdom in there. Of course, if you have any other questions, don't think twice about asking. Again, welcome.. Namaste, H.0.W. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

i have decided to go back and look at the source that led me to believe that i was enlightened and i will quote from Eckhart tolle's book the power of now"The buddha says that pain or suffering arises through desire or craving and that to be free of pain we need to cut the bonds of desire." "In that state, even my desire to become free or enlightened is just another craving for fulfillment or completion in the future. so dont seek to become free of desire or achieve enlightenment. become present. be there as the observer of the mind. instead of quoting the buddha, be the buddha, be the awakened one, which is what the word buddha means" Do you find this valuable? |

Yes. Desire is the root of human suffering, and only by releasing that desire and humbling ourselves before God can we shed our suffering and attain deep self enlightenment.

Finnaly much of what you have said has sunk in and made sense. I have been away exploring my innerbody where truth was needed to be found. I had to take this time out to listen to my mind body and soul, because i have been on the verge of suffering from fear, anxiety and depression. Today my little girl starts preschool, and i am so glad to be sending her to school with my positive energy, and i hope she can keep that with her all day.
